Who are The GUARD?

The Guard began not as an institution, but as an alliance — a bold experiment in unity at a time when the world was still learning how to live with heroes. In the 1999, Echo teamed with Hera and The Olympian, forming a small but formidable trinity to lead the next generation of emerging champions.

In 2005, with unanimous United Nations backing, the alliance was formally chartered as The Guard—the world’s first globally sanctioned team of superhuman defenders. By 2010, the roster was complete: the cloned technopath Interface, hard-light superstar Splendor, an emissary of the interdimensional Magistrates, and the time- and reality-bending sorceress Mythweaver joined the founding heroes, locking in The Guard’s original core of seven.

Over the decades, many have carried The Guard’s banner—some retiring after long service, others falling in the line of duty. Yet the team itself endures, not as a fixed roster but as a living tradition, shaped by sacrifice, renewal, and an unshakable belief that when darkness gathers, heroism is strongest when it stands together.
